Chicago Blackhawks vs Detroit Red Wings NHL Preseason at ESPN Live

The preseason opening game last Wednesday was a huge event and all of us hockey fans tuned in to watch the live stream matches. Another tough and challenging season is expected as the grand opening of the National Hockey League Season 2010-2011 is nearing. This season will be the 93rd year in the rich history of the National Hockey League. The opening of the Season will be this coming October 7, 2010.

Let us move to the main event of the evening as we are here at the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit Michigan to witness both teams go head to head in a clash of pure talents. The match today is between the defending champion Blackhawks against the Host Team, Detroit Red Wings.

This match will be the first hockey game of the Red Wings after their uneventful loss to Pittsburgh last Wednesday scoring only 1 against 5. It is the same story for the visiting champion, Blackhawks as they were also defeated in their debut match yesterday against the Florida based Tampa Bay Lightning 2 to 4. Let us see which team has more to show.

    Who wrote this article? They must not be doing their job properly to say that the Red Wings game against Penguins was uneventful?! Johan Franzen got a dirty knee hit from Brooks Orpik and Franzen will be out for at least 3 games with the injury. Is that what you call uneventful? J Coyle.
