Because it’s the 30th anniversary of Pacman, Google decided to make another awesome interactive Google about the game, but that’s just yesterday. Today, the Pacman Game in the Google homepage was removed.

Actually, what you see is a flash player where you can play the actual Pacman game. And yes, today is the Pac-man 30th Anniversary and the Google Doodle announces its celebration now.

The history says that on May 22, 1980 the now-iconic Pac-Man game was released in Japan by Namco Bandai Games. Originally called Puck Man, and Pac-Man launched in the U.S. in October 1980 and went on to sell more than 100,000 units in its first year of production. Read more »
