US Opticians Are Worried of Lady Gaga’s Big Eyes Craze 0

US Opticians Are Worried of Lady Gaga’s Big Eyes Craze-American teenagers are fascinated by Lady Gaga’s eyes in Bad Romance video and most of them took for granted the risk of wearing “circle lenses.”

Circle lenses cover the white area part of the eyes to make the pupil look bigger.

The “big eyes” craze started after Lady Gaga’s Bad Romance music movie, hit screens last year. In the music video, Gaga’s eyes have been digitally changed to make them look bigger.

However, there were several companies in Asia who make contact lenses to achieve the same wide eyed look.

Since, the contact lenses haven’t been approved by federal health officials; selling and purchasing the products are still prohibited in US, that is why most of the teenagers have been buying them from different countries like South Korea and Japan through online websites.

The lenses have a variety of colors worth $20 (£13).

Opticians are worried that the lack of quality control and the frequent use of these lenses will lead to problems like eye infections, damage and even loss of vision.

Lady Gaga Leads the Nomination for the MTV Video Music Award-Lady Gaga has been nominated for the MTV Video Music Awards with 13 votes leading Eminem with 8 votes. She’s the first female artist to be nominated twice for the Music Video of the Year for “Bad Romance” and “Telephone.”

Gaga said on her interview, “I’m so honored for all the little monsters and self-professed freaks of the universe, to have more VMA nominations in a single year than any artist in MTV history. Ironically, I’m even more proud it’s an unlucky number: 13.” She added, “A long time ago, the world told me and my little monsters we would never be heard. Together we changed the rules. God put me on Earth for three reasons: to make loud music, gay videos and cause a damn raucous. Thank you, MTV!”

The pop diva and the rapper will compete on Sunday, September 12 in Los Angeles.

Eminem will compete against Lady Gaga in the video of the year category for Not Afraid.

Florence and the Machine (Dog Days Are Over) are also nominated for the Video of the Year.
