Michael Douglas Speaks Up In His Battle-Oscar winner, Michael Douglas breaks his silence for the first time about his recent battle with throat cancer.

Two weeks ago, the actor was diagnosed with tumor in his throat and began a strict regimen of treatment including eight weeks of chemotherapy.

The 65-year-old actor is determined to fight his diagnosis saying, “I will do everything I can. It’s a fight. I’ll beat this.”

His doctors, family and friends hope for Douglas fast recovery.

Mr. Douglas has a very supportive wife Catherine Zeta-Jones and children Dylan, 10 and Carys who helped him fight his new battle.

Michael Douglas Film Won’t Be Postponed Despite His Health Condition-Earlier this week Michael Douglas has been diagnosed with tumor in his throat.

But that won’t affect the opening of his film Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps.
In fact, the film will be shown on September 24 and as planned Douglas will also promote the movie.

The 65-year-old actor needs eight weeks of radiation and chemotherapy. His doctors also expect him to fully recover from his treatment. Douglas himself was very optimistic.

The original movie entitled Wall Street was shown 20 years ago and here’s the remake of the movie Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps in which Douglas repeats his role as Gekko, the disgraced financier who has just been released after a lengthy term in prison.
