The 59th Miss Universe pageant held last night in Mandalay Bay Events Center in the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, Las Vegas, Nevada, USA was a great show that had been watched all over the world. Millions of people across the globe watched it with their fingers crossed as the announcement of the top beauty queens gets near up to the announcement of the winners.
Bret Michaels and Natalie Morales hosted the pageant and Miss Universe 2009 Stefanía Fernández of Venezuela gave the crown the successor of Miss Universe this year. Miss Mexico Jimena Navarrete crowned as the Miss Universe 2010 winner. Miss Jamaica Yendi Phillipps grabbed the first-runner up while Miss Australia Jesinta Campbell took the second-runner up spot.
Miss Australia 2010 Jesinta Campbell finished as third placer and Miss Philippines Maria Venus Raj took the fourth runner-up.
The judging panel includes actor-singer Chynna Phillips, Evan Lysacek – Olympic Gold Medal Figure Skater, magician Criss Angel, model Niki Taylor, musician Sheila E, MSNBC anchor Tamron Hall, actor-proudcer and writer William Baldwin, actress Jane Seymour and actor-writer Chazz Palminteri.
