Jackson was supposedly the number 1 contender in the division, however, he was defeated by Rashad Evans in the last fight. He need to defeat the former Light Heavyweight champ Machida before having another fight to the whoever will win in the Rua-Evans match this coming UFC 128. Having the title is not going to be easy, but Jackson got the skills and power to have it. He has defeated several great fighters in UFC like Chuck Lidell and Aderson Silva. That’s why there is no doubt that he could defeat also defeat the fighters who are coming on his way to his much anticipated title.

One of the five fights would be between Frank Mir and Cro Cop for the Heavy weight division. Supposedly it would be between Mir and (Minotauro) Nogueira for their rematch from the Interim Championship bout but the latter pulled out due to knee surgery. Mir will then be facing Mirko Filipovic or better known as Cro Cop, the Croatian Police Special Forces tactical unit member. Both are having South Paw Stance and was able to grab a ‘Submission of the Night’ title in their previous fights. That’s why their battle could be called ‘Battle of Submission’. Mir got the title when he made Brock Lesnar submit to him due to knee bar way back UFC 81 while Cro Cop got it from Pat Barry due to Rear Naked Choke in UFC 115.

Who will be submit first between these two great fighters is still unknown until their fight takes place on September 25th. This is one of the numerous reasons why you need to witness UFC 119. BJ Penn, is a legend in the world of UFC wherein he joins Randy Couture for being a fighter to have held a championship title in two different divisions. Couture just smiled on his words and seems to be very relaxed upon hearing Toney’s words. He has the greater advantage in this fight since Toney has been used to fight without legs in his previous career.

UFC 117 has been the talked about fight this coming August 7. It will be showcasing the longest reigning Middleweight champ Anderson Silva who has been currently mocked and insulted by his challenger Chael Sonnen for this past few months. It has made the fight more controversial and exciting.

For those lucky ones who can make it live to the octagon, good for you. But those who can’t, UFC 117 Live Stream can be viewed on several sites which would surely be flooded with viewers on that day.

Anderson Silva got his Middleweight title way back UFC 64 by defeating Rich Franklin. From then on, he has defended it amazingly. He has been soft spoken despite the harsh words released by his challenger Sonnen.

Sonnen’s last fight was with Nate Marquardt in UFC 109 wherein he amazingly outwrestled the two very deep Guillotine Chokes by Marquardt and declared winner afterwards. For him, it was one of the most horrible experiences of his life. “I was counting down the seconds until he (Marquardt) would let go”, he said. Afterwards, he braced himself to fight against the renowned champ Silva has released statement saying “I want 12 pounds of gold around my waist”. He as well mocked the champ with several insulting words.

Not until UFC 117 fight would be over, then that’s the right time to say whether the harsh words of Sonnen could be turn into a harsh fight against Silva.

We can’t deny the fact that one of the most exciting matches this afternoon is the main event! UFC 112 is entitled Invincible. Truly, all the fight cards are undeniably invincible and worthy to be called invincible. The match between Silva and Maia is what I’m waiting for and I can’t wait to see who will win.

This February 2010, the UFC has a total of 11 bouts on the card including a matchup of Hall of Fame fighters such as Randy Couture and Mark Coleman.
