During the fifth round, Silva lands a big leg kick to start the round but tries another and Sonnen takes him down. Silva trying to land elbows off his back. Half-guard now for Sonnen. On the other hand, Sonnen got trapped in a triangle choke which gave the way to end the fight in 1:50 remaining. As a results, Silva win the fight and proclaim as the champion of the said match.
